Morning Recap | Lasers, Nationals, and Canadians get into win column Sunday

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games across the CCHL region on Sunday saw the Kanata Lasers, Rockland Nationals, and Carleton Place Canadians get into the win column. 

 

F | KANATA 4 OTTAWA 3

Julian Recine, Dylan McMahon, Paul Larabie, and Alan Njima tallied goals, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 50-saves as Kanata improved to 17-12-1-4 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to 21-14-2-0, had goals from Conor Smart, Maxime Blanchard, and Mackenzie White, while Bryan Landsberger made 20-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | ROCKLAND 10 NEPEAN 1

Cameron Scrivens (1G, 4A), Cameron Pound (1G, 2A), Jack Sullivan (1G, 2A), Gunnar Smith (1G, 1A), Dean Taylor (1G), Justin Dauphinais (1G), Vincent Labelle (1G), Andrew Aboumossa (1G), and Isaac Landry (1G) all found the back of the net, Cameron Last chipped in with 4 assists, while Jack McGovern made 21-saves as Rockland improved to 22-12-0-2 on the season. Nepean saw their record fall to 6-28-1-2 on the season.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 PEMBROKE 3

Ryan Bonfield, Cameron Patton, Elliott McDermott, Daniel Nelson, and Jaxon Camp scored goals, while Addison Lawrence made 12-saves as Carleton Place improved their record to a CCHL best 30-3-3-2 on the year. Pembroke, who saw their record fall to 18-15-1-1, had goals from Brady Egan (2), and Jesse Dick, while Reece Proulx made 45-saves in the losing effort.
