OTTAWA, ON – In the lone Saturday CCHL match-up, the Ottawa Junior Senators picked up a well earned shutout victory over the visiting Brockville Braves.

Thomas Freel and David Mabey scored two goals apiece, while William Desmarais pitched a 23-save shutout as Ottawa improved to a CCHL best 12-2-0-1 on the season. Brockville, who saw their record drop to 9-5-0-2, had Brandon Abbott turn aside 34 shots in the losing effort.
