OTTAWA, ON – Only two games in the CCHL on Saturday night saw victories from the Ottawa Junior Senators and Renfrew Wolves as both teams had their home openers.
OTTAWA 5 NEPEAN 2
Thomas Freel (1G, 1A), Philippe Jacques (1G, 1A), Simon Isabelle (1G, 1A), Massimo Gentille, and Edward Moskowitz all scored goals for Ottawa, while William Demarais made 18-saves for the victory. Ryan Liverman and Louis Chabot responded for the Raiders, while Connor Shibley made 35-saves in the losing effort.
RENFREW 4 ROCKLAND 1
Connor MacDonell, Owen Miley, Tyson Phare, and Tyson Tomasini all found the net for the Wolves, while Will Craig made 22-saves for the win. Tucker Shields had the lone goal for the Nationals, while Jack McGovern made a whopping 47-saves in the loss.
