Morning Recap | Hawks, Raiders, and Nationals winners Wednesday

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games of CCHL action on Wednesday night saw victories coming from the Hawkesbury Hawks, Nepean Raiders, and Rockland Nationals.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 OTTAWA 2

Luke Grainger netted a hat trick, Sean Clarke also found the net, while Mathieu Chenier made 34-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 19-14-2-0. Ottawa, who fell to 21-15-2-0 on the year, had goals from Zachary Gravel and Max Bush, while Bryan Landsberger made 16-saves in the loss.

 

F | NEPEAN 4 NAVAN 3

Patrick Larkin, David Fontaine, Colin Cromie, and Matt McQuade scored goals, while Tyler Laureault made 32-saves as Nepean improved to 7-28-1-2 on the season. Navan, who saw their record fall to 14-23-0-0, had goals from Alec Lovisek, Jackson Arcan, and Ryan Park, while Alex Wiso made 28-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 SMITHS FALLS 4 OT

Vincent Labelle scored twice, including the OT winner, Jack Sullivan also tallied two goals, Simon Labelle added a single, while Jack McGovern made 23-saves as Rockland improved to 23-12-0-2 on the year. Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 15-15-2-1, getting goals from Theo Todd (2), Cade Helmer, and Brendan Dempsey, while Jake Smith made 29-saves in the loss.
