Morning Recap | Hawks, Canadians, 73’s, and Grads Friday winners

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw the Hawkesbury Hawks, Carleton Place Canadians, Kemptville 73’s, and Navan Grads claim victories.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 6 BROCKVILLE 5 SO

Evan Johnston, Mark Cooper, Cole Leal, Jeremy Quesnel, and Dovar Tinling scored in regulation, Kris Pietroniro netted the shootout winner, while Mathieu Chenier made 26-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 35-21-2-0 on the season. Brockville, who fell to 36-14-3-6 had goals from Parker Casey, Josh Barnes, Austin Paul, Troy Bowditch, and Simon Kerr.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 6 SMITHS FALLS 4

Andrej Hromic (2), Ben Brunette, David Gagnon, Brett Thorne, and Ryland Mosley all found the back of the net, while Addison Lawrence made 15-saves as Carleton Place improved to a CCHL best 47-7-4-2, reaching 100 points on the season. Smiths Falls, who saw their record drop to 30-23-3-2, had goals from Tate Leeson (2), Cameron McLean, and Ryan Richardson, while Victor Desjardins made 34-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 3 ROCKLAND 2 SO

Nicholas Domitrovic and Gavin Wood tallied in regulation, Ryan Pawlikowski scored the shootout winner, while William Anderson made 31-saves as Kemptville improved to 24-30-4-0 on the year. Rockland, who fell to 38-18-0-3, had goals from Gunnar Smith and Cole Craft, while Jack McGovern made 29-saves in the loss.

 

F | NAVAN 5 NEPEAN 3

Zane Dalpe, Jean-Sylvain Boyer, Alec Lovisek, Jackson Arcan, and Blake Butler found the score-sheet, while Alex Wisco made 23-saves as Navan improved to 27-30-1-0 on the year. Nepean, who saw their record drop to 9-46-1-2, had goals from Patrick Larkin, Beau Binnie, and Zachary Gravel, while Tyler Laureault made 32-saves in the losing effort.
