Morning Recap | Hawks and Lasers victorious Thursday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Two games across the CCHL on Thursday saw the Hawkesbury Hawks and Kanata Lasers pick up victories.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 CORNWALL 1

Dovar Tinling scored twice, Jeremie Payant added a single, while goaltender Mathieu Chenie made 23-saves to pick up his first career CCHL victory as the Hawks improved to 2-4-0-0 on the year. Bradley Shaw scored the lone Cornwall goal, while Rico Dimatteo finished with 32-saves as the Colts fell to 1-5-0-0 this season.

 

F | KANATA 5 KEMPTVILLE 2

Luca Nocita and Julian Recine each tallied two goals, Paul Larabie also found the back of the net, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 31-saves as Kanata improved to 5-1-0-0 on the season. Ryan Pawlikowski and Jesse Dick responded for the 73’s, while William Anderson made 23-saves as Kemptville fell to 1-4-1-0 on the year.
