Morning Recap | Grads, Braves, Canadians, and Lumber Kings winners Sunday

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Sunday saw victories from the Navan Grads, Brockville Braves, Carleton Place Canadians, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

F | NAVAN 3 CORNWALL 1

Gabriel Crete, Alex Robert, and Tristan Francis tallied goals, while Alex Aslanidis made 40-saves as Navan improved to 11-16-0-0 on the year. Cornwall saw their season record fall to 8-16-1-1.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 4 ROCKLAND 3 SO

Josh Cole, Troy Bowditch, and Konnor MacCormick scored in regulation, Bowditch would also add the shootout winner, while Jake Begley made 41-saves as Brockville won their eleventh straight game to improve to 18-4-3-0 on the season. Rockland, who fell to 16-8-0-2 on the year, had goals from Cole Craft (2), and Joe Jordan, while Cyrus Martin made 30-saves.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 5 KEMPTVILLE 1

Austin Mourar, Daniel Nelson, Ryan Bonfield, Ryland Mosley, and Kerfalla Toure tallied goals, while Addison Lawrence made 19-saves as Carleton Place won their sixth straight game to improve to 23-3-2-0 on the year. Kemptville saw their record fall to 8-15-3-0.

 

F | PEMBROKE 8 SMITHS FALLS 2

Brady Egan (4G, 1A), Fletcher Anderson (2G, 2A), Jesse Kirkby, and Ty Hollett led the way offensively, while Reece Proulx made 22-saves as Pembroke improved to 14-12-0-0 on the year. Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 10-13-0-1.
