Morning Recap | Full slate Sunday as all 12 teams in action

 

Ottawa, ON – All twelve CCHL teams were in action on Sunday as the Kanata Lasers, Brockville Braves, Carleton Place Canadians, Ottawa Jr Senators, Kemptville 73’s, and Pembroke Lumber Kings each picked up two points.

Austin Paul scored twice, Julian Recine, Paul Larabie, and Trevor Poeze also tallied goals, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny pitched a 41-save shutout as Kanata improved to 12-6-0-1 on the season. Cornwall saw their record fall to 3-14-1-1.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 4 SMITHS FALLS 1

Called up from the Brockville Tikis, Colin Stacey scored his first two career CCHL goals, Troy Bowditch and Ryan Gillespie also found the net, while Jake Begley made 28-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 11-4-3-0. Smiths Falls fell to 8-10-0-1 on the year.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 ROCKLAND 3 SO

Ryland Mosley led the way with a two-goal performance, Daniel Nelson also scored in regulation, David Gagnon netted the Shootout winner, while goaltender Devon Levi made 22-saves as Carleton Place improved their league best record to 17-3-1-0. Rockland, who dropped their second straight game to fall to 14-5-0-1, had goals from Cole Craft (2), and Jack Sullivan, while Cyrus Martin finished with 26-saves in the losing effort.

Thomas Freel, Ethan Mulhearn, and Mark MacPhee all tallied goals, while Bryan Landsberger made 40-saves as Ottawa improved to 13-6-1-0 on the year. Jean-Sylvain Boyer and Jackson Arcan scored for Navan, while Alex Aslanidis made 33-saves as the Grads fell to 7-13-0-0.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 5 NEPEAN 4

Hunter Brazier scored twice, Carter Vollett, Chase Lammi, and Ryan Pawlikowski added singles, while Riley McCabe made 18-saves as Kemptville improved to 8-9-2-0 on the season. Nepean fell to 2-16-1-1, receiving goals from Joshua Shimizu who tallied a hat-trick, and Tyson Tomasini.

 

F | PEMBROKE 3 HAWKESBURY 2

Cameron Hough, Andrew Poulias, and Fletcher Anderson were the goal scorers, while Reece Proulx made 43-saves as Pembroke improved to 12-9-0-0. Hawkesbury, who fell to 11-9-0-0 had goals from Evan Johnston and Luke Grainger, while Mathieu Chenier made 24-saves.
