Morning Recap | Four games to wrap up weekend

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games to wrap up the first weekend of 2020 had wins coming from Brockville, Carleton Place, Kemptville, and Hawkesbury.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 NAVAN 2

Simon Kerr (2), Corson Green, Parker Casey, and Josh Spratt led the offense, while Aidan Hosein made 28-saves as Brockville improved to 27-8-3-0 on the year. Navan saw their record drop to 15-25-0-0.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 ROCKLAND 2

Brett Thorne, Cameron Patton, and Kerfalla Toure found the back of the net, while Devon Levi made 30-saves as Carleton Place improved their record to a CCHL best 33-5-3-2. Rockland, who fell to 26-13-0-2 had goals from Cole Craft and Vincent Labelle, while Cole Hudson made 29-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 CORNWALL 3

Chase Lammi, Ryan Pawlikowski, Chase Broda, Jared Patterson, Cole Dennison, and Madoka Suzuki scored goals, while William Anderson made 14-saves as Kemptville improved to 17-20-3-2 on the season. Cornwall saw their record fall to 13-26-1-1, getting goals from Charlie Skinner (2), and Joshua Barnes.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 4 PEMBROKE 0

Mathieu Sabourin, Kris Pietroniro, Brendan McCarthy, and Jeremy Quesnel tallied goals, while Mathieu Chenier had a 20-save shutout as Hawkesbury improved to 23-14-2-0. Pembroke, who fell to 20-17-1-1, saw Reece Proulx making 57 saves on 60 shots in the loss.
