Morning Recap | Four games of Family Day CCHL action

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Family Day Monday saw victories from the Kanata Lasers, Rockland Nationals, Kemptville 73’s, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

F | KANATA 6 CORNWALL 1

Dylan McMahon, Will Larsen, Charlie Johnson, Ranvir Gill-Shane, Yancy Whitaker, and Derek St-Jean tallied goals, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 29-saves as Kanata got a much needed win to improve to 23-26-2-5 on the season. Cornwall saw their record fall to 19-33-1-3.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 BROCKVILLE 2

Vincent Labelle (2), Daniel Menges, and Cole Craft found the back of the net, while Cole Hudson made 32-saves as Rockland improved their season record to 37-17-0-2. Brockville fell to 35-12-3-4.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 NEPEAN 4

Madoka Suzuki scored a hat-trick, Chase Broda, Ryan Pawlikowski, and Gavin Wood also found the back of the net, while William Anderson made 13-saves as Kemptville improved to 21-29-4-0. Nepean saw their record fall to 9-42-1-2.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 6 SMITHS FALLS 3

Brett Thorne netted a hat-trick, Jake Code, Reece Bolton, and Jaxon Camp also scored, while Devon Levi made 20-saves as Carleton Place improved to a CCHL best 44-7-4-2. Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 28-20-3-2.
