Morning Recap | Four games of action on busy Sunday in CCHL

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games of CCHL action on Sunday saw victories from the Carleton Place Canadians, Kemptville 73’s, Hawkesbury Hawks, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 7 NEPEAN 3

Andrej Hromic, Elliott McDermott, David Gagnon, Brett Thorne, James Lister, Cameron Patton, and Kerfalla Toure netted goals, while Addison Lawrence made 27-saves as Carleton Place improved to 28-3-3-1 on the season. Nepean saw their record fall to 5-26-1-2, receiving goals from Matt McQuade, William Venne, and Adam Cater.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 BROCKVILLE 1

Chase Broda, Ryan Pawlikowski, Chase Lammi, and Easton Ryan tallied goals, while Riley McCabe made 24-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 13-18-3-0. Brockville saw their record fall to 23-6-3-0.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 6 SMITHS FALLS 2

Jeremy Quesnel, Brendan McCarthy, Evan Johnston, Sean Clarke, Sebastien Paquette, and Mathieu Sabourin all scored goals, while Mathieu Chenier made 21-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 17-14-2-0 on the season. Smiths Falls saw their record fall to 14-15-0-1.

Fletcher Anderson, Nicolas Guillemette, Andrew Poulias, and Cameron Hough scored, while Reece Proulx made 23-saves as Pembroke improved to 18-14-0-1 on the season. Navan saw their record fall to 14-21-0-0, receiving goals from Tristan Francis and Alderic Denis, while Alex Wisco made 37-saves in the losing effort.
