Morning Recap | Four games kick-off first weekend of 2020

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games of action across the CCHL on Friday night saw victories from the Rockland Nationals, Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 KANATA 2

Cole Craft, Andrew Aboumossa, Vincent Labelle, Cameron Scrivens, and Cameron Pound tallied goals, while Cole Hudson made 32-saves as Rockland improved their season record to an Yzerman Division best 26-12-0-2. Kanata saw their record fall to 19-15-1-4.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 7 NEPEAN 1

Josh Spratt and Ryan Gillespie scored two goals apiece, Benjamin Dirven, Justin McRae, and Troy Bowditch also found the back of the net, while Jake Begley made 14-saves as Brockville improved to 26-8-3-0 on the season. Nepean saw their record drop to 7-31-1-2.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 3 NAVAN 1

Drew Rose, Luke Grainger, and Patrick Callahan scored goals, while Zach Johnson made 29-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 22-14-2-0 on the year. Navan saw their record fall to 15-24-0-0.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 SMITHS FALLS 3

Dante Moretti, Chase Broda, Madoka Suzuki, Cameron Cotnam, Cole Dennison, and Yancy Whitaker tallied goals, while Riley McCabe made 26-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 16-20-3-0. Smiths Falls, who fell to 17-17-2-1, had goals from Cameron McLean, Theo Todd, and Reid Russett.
