Morning Recap | Four Games in Final Friday of Regular Season

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Rockland Nationals, Hawkesbury Hawks, Smiths Falls Bears, and Carleton Place Canadians.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 NEPEAN 2

Jack Miles, Jack Sullivan, Matthew Vermaeten, Michael Mercurio, and Simon Labelle netted goals, while Jack McGovern made 23-saves as Rockland improved to 39-18-1-3 on the season. Nepean saw their record fall to 10-48-1-2.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 5 BROCKVILLE 4 SO

Jeremy Quesnel, Sean Clarke, Cole Leal, and Luke Grainger scored in regulation, Felix Sauve scored the shootout winner, while Mathieu Chenier made 47-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 36-23-2-0. Brockville, who fell to 36-15-3-7, had goals from Konnor MacCormick, Parker Casey, Josh Spratt, and Justin McRae.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 4 PEMBROKE 2

Cade Helmer, Brent Broaders, Ryan Richardson, and Andrew McKenney found the back of the net, while Victor Desjardins made 16-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 32-24-3-2 on the year. Pembroke fell to 31-27-2-1.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 NAVAN 2

Ryland Mosley, Cameron Patton, and Brett Thorne scored goals, while Addison Lawrence made 34-saves as Carleton Place improved their record to a CCHL best 49-7-4-2. Navan, who fell to 28-32-1-0, had a two-goal performance from Gabriel Crete, while Alex Aslanidis made 27-saves in the loss.
