Morning Recap | Four games across league on busy Sunday

 

Ottawa, ON – Sunday offered up four games of CCHL action, with victories coming from the Carleton Place Canadians, Rockland Nationals, Kemptville 73’s, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 6 NEPEAN 1

Elliott McDermott (2), Jake Code, David Gagnon, Reece Bolton, and Xavier Jean-Louis scored goals, while Addison Lawrence made 14-saves as Carleton Place improved to 46-7-4-2 on the season. Nepean saw their record fall to 9-45-1-2. 

 

F | ROCKLAND 7 SMITHS FALLS 2

Gunnar Smith led the way with a hat trick, Jack Miles, Matthew Vermaeten, and Joe Jordan also netted goals, while Jack McGovern made 22-saves as Rockland improved to 38-18-0-2 on the year. Smiths Falls, who dropped their fifth straight, saw their record fall to 28-22-3-2 on the year.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 4 BROCKVILLE 1

Ryan Pawlikowski (2), Madoka Suzuki, and Jeff Taylor tallied goals, while William Anderson made 33-saves as Kemptville improved their season record to 23-30-4-0. Brockville saw their record drop to 35-14-3-4.

 

F | PEMBROKE 4 NAVAN 2

Jesse Kirky (2), Andrew Poulias, and Blair Battochio scored goals, while Reece Proulx made 37-saves as Pembroke improved their record to 30-24-2-1 on the season. Navan dropped to 26-30-1-0.
