Morning Recap | Four Games across CCHL region Friday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL region on Friday night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Smiths Falls Bears, Carleton Place Canadians, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

BROCKVILLE 3 ROCKLAND 1

Evan Boucher tallied two goals, Ryan Bonfield added a single, while Brandon Abbott made 22-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 13-7-0-2. Rockland, who fell to 5-13-1-2, had their lone goal from Tucker Shields, while Jack McGovern made 31-saves in the losing effort.

 

SMITHS FALLS 4 HAWKESBURY 2

Conor Ronayne scored twice, Will Rivet and Sean James also found the back of the net, while Will McEvoy made 31-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 7-13-1-0 on the season. Hawkesbury, who saw their record fall to 14-6-0-2, had goals from Landon Brownlee and Jakson Kirk, while Dimitri Pelekos made 20-saves in the loss.

 

CARLETON PLACE 7 NEPEAN 4

Liam Goreski tallied a hat-trick, Djibril Toure, Marco Iozzo, Jackson Hay, and Bill Gourgon also scored, while Brady McEwan made 27-saves as Carleton Place improved their record on the year to 9-11-0-1. Nepean, who fell to 6-14-1-0, had two-goal performances from Jack Hillier and Zachary Lefebvre, while Connor Shibley made 19-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 3 NAVAN 2

Evan Beaudry, Hunter Brazier, and Adam Cavallin found the net, while Tyler Laureault made 39-saves as Kemptville improved to 14-6-2-1 on the season. Navan, who fell to 13-7-0-1, had goals from Ryan Burke and Blake Hall, while Ben West made 33-saves on the losing end of things.
