Morning Recap | Four games across CCHL circuit Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Sunday saw four games across the CCHL region, with the Hawkesbury Hawks, Smiths Falls Bears, Renfrew Wolves, and Pembroke Lumber Kings picking up victories.

 

HAWKESBURY 6 NEPEAN 1

Michael Andrews scored twice, Tyler Samodral, Bradley Horner, Jeremy Quesnel, and Landon Brownlee also scored goals, while Dimitri Pelekos made 22-saves as the Hawks improved their season record to 11-5-0-0. Nepean, who fell to 4-11-1-0, had their lone goal from Samuel Beaulne, while Jordan Provost made 21-saves on the losing end of things.

 

SMITHS FALLS 3 CARLETON PLACE 2

Brody Fournier tallied two goals, Owen Watson scored the game-winner, while Victor Desjardins made 28-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 4-11-1-0 on the year. Carleton Place, who saw their record drop to 7-8-0-1, had goals from Kerfalla Toure and Jake Code, while Joe Chambers made 25-saves in the loss.

 

RENFREW 5 NAVAN 4 SO

Charlie Johnson scored twice, Mathieu Parent and Mason Goldie also scored, while Will Craig made 48-saves as the Wolves improved to 10-4-0-0 on the season. Navan, who dropped to 9-6-0-0, received goals from Nolan Forster, Danyk Drouin, Gabriel Crete, and Ryan Burke, while Ben West finished with 41-saves in the losing effort.

 

PEMBROKE 6 ROCKLAND 3

Gabe Malek scored twice, Brady Egan, Raphael Seguin, Riley Thompson, and Jacob Dupont also scored, while Reece Proulx made 33-saves as Pembroke improved to 11-3-1-1 on the year. Rockland, who saw their record fall to 4-10-1-1, had goals from Giovanni Morneau, Justin Dauphinais, and Matteo Disipio, while Simon Couroux and Jack McGovern split the duties in the loss.
