Morning Recap | Four Games

 

Ottawa, ON – Four games across the CCHL on Tuesday night, including a huge match-up between the Cornwall Colts and Pembroke Lumber Kings, two teams in a battle for the 8th and final playoff spot.

 

F | PEMBROKE 2 CORNWALL 1 OT

Alec Lindecker tallied the lone regulation goal, Alex Lewis was the OT hero, while Brennan Kitchen was solid between the pipes, making 33-saves as Pembroke improved to 27-33-1-0, moving them into the 8th and final playoff spot for the time being.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 BROCKVILLE 0

Brett Thorne, Keenan Reynolds, and Zachary Tupker found the net, while Vincent Bujold-Roux had a 27-save shutout as Carleton Place finished their regular season off with a league best 44-11-3-4 record and 95 points.

 

F | ROCKLAND 5 HAWKESURY 3

Matthew Vermaeten, Simon Labelle, Daniel Menges, Nicolas Chartrand, and Griffin McGregor had the goals, while Joseph Giacobbo made 26-saves as Rockland improved to 38-17-3-2 on the season.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 5 SMITHS FALLS 3

Madoka Suzuki had 3 points (2G, 1A), Jeff Taylor, Nicolas Domitrovic, and Cameron McLean also scored, while Thomson Phinney made 37-saves as Kemptville improved to 20-34-5-2 on the year.
