Morning Recap | Five Games of action in busy Friday night

 

Ottawa, ON – Five games across the league last night saw victories from the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Smiths Falls Bears, Kemptville 73’s, and Rockland Nationals.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 CARLETON PLACE 2 OT

Justin McRae scored two goals, including the overtime winner, Parker Casey added 1 goal and 2 assists, while Jake Begley made 24-saves as Brockville improved to 23-5-3-0 on the season. Carleton Place, who saw their record fall to 27-3-3-1, had goals from David Gagnon and Ryan Bonfield, while Addison Lawrence finished with 19-saves in the loss.

 

F | HAWKESBURY 6 OTTAWA 2

Zachary Lefebvre (2), Drew Rose, Luke Grainger, Azzaro Tinling, and Brendan McCarthy all found the back of the net, while Mathieu Chenier made 25-saves as Hawkesbury improved to 16-14-2-0. Ottawa saw their record fall to 19-13-2-0.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 5 CORNWALL 3

Tate Leeson, Alexander Caulfield, Theo Todd, Ryan Richardson, and Reid Russett all tallied goals, while Jake Smith made 39-saves as Smiths Falls improved their season record to 14-14-0-1. Cornwall, who fell to 11-21-1-1 on the season, had goals from Charlie Campbell (2), and Christophe Cote.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 7 PEMBROKE 4

Dante Moretti (2), Hunter Brazier (2), Dylan Bond, Jeff Taylor, and Chase Broda all scored goals, while William Anderson made 30-saves as Kemptville improved their record to 12-18-3-0. Pembroke, who fell to 17-14-0-1, had goals from Jesse Dick (2), and Fletcher Anderson (2).

 

F | ROCKLAND 10 NAVAN 4

Simon Labelle (4G, 3A) and Gunnar Smith (2G, 5A) had 7-point nights, Noah Doyle added 2 goals, Andrew Aboumossa and Jack Sullivan added singles, while Jack McGovern made 26-saves as Rockland improved their record to 21-10-0-2 on the season. Navan, who saw their record drop to 14-20-0-0, had goals from Alex Robert, Zane Dalpe, Wil Murray, and Ryan Park.
