Morning Recap | Five games make up busy Friday night across CCHL region

 

Ottawa, ON – A busy Friday night in the CCHL offered five games of action with the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Carleton Place Canadians, Smiths Falls Bears, Kanata Lasers, and Rockland Nationals pulling out victories.

 

F | PEMBROKE 4 BROCKVILLE 3

Dennis Golovatchev (2), Fletcher Anderson, and Sam Allison tallied goals, while Reece Proulx made 56-saves as Pembroke improved to 23-21-2-1 on the season. Brockville, who saw their record fall to 30-10-3-3, had goals from Konnor MacCormick, Justin McRae, and Josh Barnes, while Jake Begley made 25-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 3 HAWKESBURY 0

David Gagnon scored twice, Jake Code added a single, while Devon Levi had a 33-save shutout as Carleton Place improved to a CCHL best 38-6-3-2 on the year. Hawkesbury fell to 27-17-2-0 on the season.

 

F | SMITHS FALLS 5 NEPEAN 1

Cameron McLean (2), Thomas Quick, Tate Leeson, and Theo Todd found the back of the net, while Victor Desjardins made 23-saves as Smiths Falls improved their season record to 21-18-2-2. Nepean saw their record fall to 8-35-1-2.

 

F | KANATA 6 KEMPTVILLE 1

Luca Nocita, Dylan McMahon, Derek St.Jean, Yancy Whitaker, Paul Larabie, and Charlie Johnson scored goals, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 27-saves as Kanata improved to 20-20-2-5 on the year. Kemptville saw their record drop to 19-22-4-0.

 

F | ROCKLAND 4 OTTAWA 2

Cole Craft scored twice, Cameron Scrivens and Jack Sullivan also found the net, while Cole Hudson made 25-saves as Rockland improved to 31-14-0-2 on the year. Ottawa, who fell to 24-21-2-0, had goals from Josh Shimizu and David Berube, while Bryan Landsberger made 28-saves in the loss.
