Morning Recap | Five Games across CCHL region Friday night

 

OTTAWA, ON – There were five games of CCHL action Friday night, seeing the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Renfrew Wolves, Navan Grads, Kemptville 73’s, and Hawkesbury Hawks pick up victories. 

 

PEMBROKE 4 BROCKVILLE 2

Caden Eaton scored twice, Riley Thompson and Jesse Kirby scored singles, while Dalton McBride made 32 saves for the victory. Anthony Biniaris and Lucas Culhane scored for the Braves, while Will McEvoy finished with 32 saves in the loss.

 

RENFREW 5 NEPEAN 2

Elvis Slack tallied two goals, Tyson Tomasini, Samuel Willits, and Talon Duff also scored, while Sebastian Resar made 30-saves for the win. For the Raiders, Jack Hillier and Tyler Melvin found the net, while Connor Shibley made 32-saves in the losing effort.

 

NAVAN 4 SMITHS FALLS 1

Blake Hall scored a hat trick, Gabriel Crete also tallied, while Ben West made 27-saves in the win. Alec Hamady had the lone goal for Smiths Falls, while Victor Desjardins made 24-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 3 ROCKLAND 2 OT

Ethan Esposito and Ryan Cartright scored in regulation, Patrick Larkin was the OT hero, while Tyler Laureault made 31-saves in the victory. Dylan Blue and Dean Taylor scored for Rockland, while Simon Couroux made 37-saves in the loss.

 

HAWKESBURY 3 CARLETON PLACE 1

Rylee Hlusiak, Josh Spratt, and Eric Chamandy were the goal scorers, while Dimitri Pelekos made 16-saves for the victory. Jake Code was the lone goal scorer for the Canadians, while Brady McEwan made 32-save in the losing effort.
