Morning Recap | Eight teams on CCHL ice on Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – Four games across the CCHL circuit Sunday saw victories from the Navan Grads, Carleton Place Canadians, Brockville Braves, and Pembroke Lumber Kings.

 

NAVAN 6 HAWKESBURY 1

Alec Lovisek, Owen Parsons, Colton Chipman, Ryan Burke, Cayden Faust, and Gabriel Crete all tallied goals, while Ben West made 34-saves to help the Grads improve to 3-0-0 on the season. Rylee Hlusiak scored the lone goal for the Hawks, while Sasha Gaumond finished with 33-saves in the loss.

 

CARLETON PLACE 4 KEMPTVILLE 1

Ethan Woolsey, Jackson Mowatt, Derek Hamilton, and Kerfalla Toure each found the net, while Joe Chambers made 29-saves. Ty Whyte tallies the lone 73’s goal while Tyler Laureault finished with 13-saves.

 

BROCKVILLE 7 NEPEAN 1

Coline Stacey and Evan Boucher had two goals apiece, Liam Goreski, Marco Iozzo, and Luke Tchor also scored, while Philip Rondina made 32-saves. Carter Vollett scored for the Raiders while Connor Shibley made 26-saves.

 

PEMBROKE 2 SMITHS FALLS 1

Brady Egan scored the winning goal late in the third period, Jack Stockfish also found the net, while Dalton McBride made 23-saves in the victory. Christopher Soo-Robitaille scored the lone Smiths Falls goal, while Victor Desjardins finished with 32-saves.
