OTTAWA, ON – Eight teams in action to close out the week as the Smiths Falls Bears, Rockland Nationals, Navan Grads, and Pembroke Lumber Kings picked up victories.

 

SMITHS FALLS 4 CORNWALL 3

Owen Watson scored twice, Brody Fournier and Shaymus Stevenson also scored, while Victor Desjardins made 31-saves as Smiths Falls improved to 6-13-1-0 on the season. Cornwall, who dropped their record to 3-14-3-3, had goals from Kobe Tallman, Nolan Gagnon, and Keanu Krenn, while Alex Houston made 30-saves in the losing effort.

 

ROCKLAND 4 KEMPTVILLE 3 OT

Giovanni Morneau (2) and Patrick Larkin scored in regulation, Justin Dauphinais netted the overtime winner, while Simon Couroux made 23-saves as Rockland improved their season record to 5-12-2-1. Kemptville, who fell to 13-6-2-1 on the year, had goals from Grant Eastwood, Hunter Brazier, and Patrick Larkin, while Connor Blackwood made 30-saves on the losing end of things.

 

NAVAN 4 CARLETON PLACE 0

Ryan Burke continued his hot play with two goals, Nolan Forster and Owen Parsons scored singles, while Ben West 20-saves for his first career CCHL shutout as Navan improved to 13-6-0-1 on the year. Carleton Place, who saw their record fall to 8-11-0-1 had a 23-save effort from Joe Chambers in the loss.

 

PEMBROKE 5 NEPEAN 3

Jack Stockfish, Brady Egan, Jesse Kirkby, Gavin Ewles, and Joe Jordan tallied goals, while Dalton McBride made 36-saves as Pembroke improved their season record to a Robinson Division leading 14-4-1-1. Nepean, who fell to 6-13-1-0, had goals from Jeff Taylor who scored twice, Ryan Liverman who added a single, while Connor Shibley made 33-saves in the loss.
