Morning Recap | Colts, Lumber Kings, and 73’s victorious Thursday

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games across the CCHL region on Thursday night saw victories from the Cornwall Colts, Pembroke Lumber Kings, and Kemptville 73’s.

 

F | CORNWALL 2 OTTAWA 1

Riley Brennan and Kobe Tallman tallied goals, while Rico Dimatteo made 38-saves as Cornwall improved their season record to 13-22-1-1. Ottawa, who fell to 21-16-2-0, had their lone goal from Ethan Mulhearn, while Felix Schnell made 14-saves in the losing effort.

 

F | PEMBROKE 2 KANATA 1

Jack Stockfish and Brady Egan found the back of the net, while Reece Proulx made 30-saves as Pembroke improved to 19-15-1-1 on the season. Kanata, who saw their record fall to 17-14-1-4, had their lone goal off the stick of Eric Conley, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 29-saves in the loss.

 

F | KEMPTVILLE 6 CARLETON PLACE 3

Jeff Taylor (2), Chase Lammi, Carter Vollett, Madoka Suzuki, and Chase Broda scored goals, while William Anderson made 35-saves as Kemptville improved to 15-18-3-0 on the year. Carleton Place saw their record fall to 31-4-3-2, getting goals from Brendan Hill, Jake Roberts, and Ayo Adeniye, while Addison Lawrence made 23-saves in the losing effort.
