Morning Recap | Canadians and Lasers win on Super Bowl Sunday

 

Ottawa, ON – A quiet Super Bowl Sunday in the CCHL with just two games on the schedule as the Carleton Place Canadians and Kanata Lasers picked up victories.

Caleb Kean, Kerfalla Toure, and David Gagnon scored goals, while Devon Levi picked up his second straight shutout with 26-saves as Carleton Place improved to 41-6-3-2 on the season. Navan saw their record fall to 22-26-1-0.

 

F | KANATA 6 PEMBROKE 3

Trevor Poeze (2), Yancy Whitaker, Liam Markhauser, Dylan McMahon, and Dante Hoffman found the back of the net, while Vincent Bujold-Roux made 29-saves as Kanata improved their season record to 22-23-2-5. Pembroke, who fell to 25-22-2-1, had goals from Fletcher Anderson (2), and Cameron Hough.
