Ottawa, ON – A busy Sunday saw ten teams in action on the CCHL map.

 

F | ROCKLAND 6 SMITHS FALLS 0

Cameron Last, Gunnar Smith, Vincent Labelle, Alex Frechette, William Collins, and Matthew Vermaeten all scored goals, while Cyrus Martin had a 16-save shutout as Rockland improved to 16-7-0-1 on the year. Smiths Falls saw their record drop to 9-12-0-1.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 8 KANATA 4

David Gagnon had 4 points (2G, 2A), Ayo Adeniye, Ryan Bonfield, Jake Code, Ryland Mosley, Daniel Nelson, and Brendan Hill also scored, while Devon Levi made 12-saves as Carleton Place improved to 21-3-2-0. Kanata, who fell to 13-8-1-2, had goals from Austin Paul (2), Luca Nocita, and Kurt Watson.

 

F | NAVAN 4 HAWKESBURY 3 OT

Devyn Opana had two goals, Ryan O’Toole also scored in regulation, and Alderic Denis netted the overtime winner, while Alex Aslanidis made 37-saves as Navan improved their season record to 10-15-0-0. Matt Gasuik, Jeremy Quesnel, and Azzaro Tinling tallied goals, while Zach Johnson made 29-saves in the losing effort as Hawkesbury fell to 12-11-1-0 on the year.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 3 NEPEAN 2

Justin McRae, Troy Bowditch, and Benjamin Dirven found the back of the net, while Aidan Hosein made 25-saves as Brockville improved to 15-4-3-0. Nepean, who saw their record fall to 3-19-1-1, had goals from Matt McQuade and Jack Miles, while Tyler Laureault finished with 41-saves in the loss.

Sam Gaudreau, Riley Brennan, and Bryan O’Mara scored goals, while Rico Dimatteo made 38-saves as Cornwall improved to 6-15-1-1. Pembroke saw their record fall to 13-11-0-0, getting goals from Fletcher Anderson and Brady Egan, while Reece Proulx made 24-saves in the losing effort.
