Morning Recap | Braves and Hawks Saturday night winners

 

RENFREW, ON – Two games of CCHL action on Saturday saw the Brockville Braves and Hawkesbury Hawks get into the win column.

 

BROCKVILLE 3 RENFREW 2 SO

Ryan Bonfield scored both the Braves goals in regulation, Patrick Lanthier scored the lone shootout goal, while Sami Molu made 41-saves as Brockville improved to 12-6-0-2 on the season. Renfrew, who dropped their record to 12-5-0-1, had goals from Tyson Tomasini and Tyson Phare, while Will Craig made 36-saves in the loss.

 

HAWKESBURY 5 KEMPTVILLE 1

Jeremy Quesnel scored twice, Mark Cooper, Jakson Kirk, and Jeremy Tremblay added singles, while Dimitri Pelekos made 32-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 14-5-0-2. Kemptville, who dropped their record on the year to 13-6-1-1, had their lone goal from Ty Whyte, while Connor Blackwood made 21-saves on the losing end of things.
