OTTAWA, ON – There were two games across the CCHL region Thursday which saw victories from the Brockville Braves and Cornwall Colts.
BROCKVILLE 8 NEPEAN 1
Luke Tchor netted a hat trick, Ryan Bonfield scored twice, Jack McDonald, Trent Ledrew, and Justin Dauphinais added singles, while Brandon Abbott made 22-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 28-13-0-2. Nepean, who fell to 11-30-1-0, had their lone goal from Jordan Graham in the loss.
CORNWALL 1 NAVAN 0
Wil McKinley scored the overtime winner, while Emile Savoie was perfect in net, making 38-saves for the shutout as Cornwall improved to 10-27-3-4 on the season. Navan, who fell to 20-17-1-1, had a 31-save effort from Carter Garvie in the loss.
