Morning Recap | Bears continue hot play, defeat Lumber Kings

 

SMITHS FALLS, ON – In a rare Monday night contest, the Smiths Falls Bears continued their red hot play, topping the Pembroke Lumber Kings.

Sean James, Riley Thompson, and Jacob Lesser scored, while Will McEvoy made 24-saves as Smiths Falls won their fourth straight to improve to 24-25-3-1 on the season and into sole possession of the final playoff spot with two games left in the regular season. Pembroke, who fell to 30-21-2-2, had their lone goal from Jacob Zwirecki, while Reece Proulx made 23-saves in the loss.
