Morning Recap | All twelve teams in action on busy Sunday

 

OTTAWA, ON – A full slate Sunday saw all twelve teams in action, with the Pembroke Lumber Kings, Brockville Braves, Kemptville 73’s, Renfrew Wolves, Hawkesbury Hawks, and Ottawa Junior Senators picking up victories.

 

PEMBROKE 5 CARLETON PLACE 3

Brady Egan, Grayon Ebrahim, Jack Stockfish, Carter Vollett, and Riley Thompson tallied goals, while Dalton McBride made 23-saves as Pembroke improved to 18-6-2-1 on the year. Carleton Place, whose record fell to 11-12-1-2, had two goals from Ethan Woolsey and a single from Ben Hamilton, while Joe Chambers finished with 24-saves in the loss.

 

BROCKVILLE 5 SMITHS FALLS 2

Ryan Bonfield tallied a hat-trick, Evan Boucher and Lucas Culhane also found the back of the net, while Brandon Abbott made 30-saves as Brockville improved their season record to 18-7-0-2. Smiths Falls, who fell to 9-16-1-0, had goals from Kyle Maloney and Brody Fournier, while Will McEvoy made 22-saves in the losing effort.

 

KEMPTVILLE 7 NEPEAN 5

Hunter Brazier scored twice, Matthew York, Matthew O’Doherty, Ryan Cartwright, Patrick Larkin, and Chase Lammi also scored, while Tyler Laureault made 45-saves as Kemptville improved to 16-8-2-2 on the season. Nepean, whose record dropped to 6-19-1-0, had a hat-trick from Zachary Lefebvre and two goals from Jeff Taylor.

 

RENFREW 6 ROCKLAND 3

Elvis Slack, Talon Duff, Jakob Kalin, Samuel Willits, Tyson Tomasini, and Christopher Hocevar found the scoresheet, while Sebastian Resar made 46-saves as Renfrew improved to 16-6-1-1 on the year. Rockland, who dropped to 9-16-2-1, had tallies from Patrick Larkin, Nick White, and John Mulvihill, while Simon Couroux made 24-saves in the loss.

 

HAWKESBURY 3 CORNWALL 2

Landon Brownlee, Willyam Gendron, and Jeremy Tremblay netted goals, while Max Donoso made 26-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 16-8-1-2. Cornwall, who fell to 6-17-3-4, had goals from Emerick Nadeau and Brayden Bowen, while Dax Easter made 30-saves in the losing effort.

 

OTTAWA 7 NAVAN 2

Julian Recine, Massimo Gentile, Edward Moskowitz, Mark MacPhee, Philippe Jacques, Will Murphy, and Aidan Cooper scored goals, while William Desmarais made 21-saves as the Junior Senators improved to 23-3-1-1 on the season. Navan, who fell to 14-10-0-1, had goals from Devyn Orpana and Ryan Burke.
