Morning Recap | All twelve teams in action in busy night across the CCHL

 

OTTAWA, ON – A busy night across the CCHL region saw all twelve teams in action, with the Brockville Braves, Hawkesbury Hawks, Pembroke Lumber Kings, Kemptville 73’s, Carleton Place Canadians, and Renfrew Wolves picking up victories.

 

BROCKVILLE 4 NAVAN 1

Marco Iozzo scored twice, Patrick Lanthier and Anthony Biniaris added singles, while Brandon Abbott made 28-saves as Brockville improved to 9-4-0-2 on the season. Navan, who saw their record fall to 9-5-0-0, had their lone goal from Joseph Ianneillo, while Carter Garvie made 18-saves in the losing effort.

 

HAWKESBURY 6 ROCKLAND 3

Jackson Kirk netted a hat trick, Landon Brownlee, William Gendron, and Rylee Hlusiak also scored, while Max Donoso made 24-saves as the Hawks improved their season record to 10-5-0-0. Rockland had goals from Patrick Larkin, Tyler Stewart, and Tucker Shields, while Jack McGovern finished with 25-saves on the losing end of things.

 

PEMBROKE 5 SMITHS FALLS 2

Max Martin, Carter Vollett, Gabe Malek, Jesse Kirkby, and Brady Egan scored goals, while Reece Proulx made 19-saves as Pembroke improved to 10-3-1-1 on the year. Smiths Falls, who fell to 3-11-1-0, had goals from Brody Fournier and Sean James, while Adam Yost made 21-saves in the loss.

 

KEMPTVILLE 5 OTTAWA 4 SO

Brock Krulicki scored in regulation and added the shootout winner, Ty Whyte, Devon Savignac, and Patrick Larkin also scored goals, while Tyler Laureault made 42-saves as Kemptville improved to 11-5-0-1 on the season. Ottawa, who fell to 11-2-0-1, had goals from Mark MacPhee, Thomas Freel, Massimo Gentile, and Alex Pineau, while William Desmarais made 32-saves on the losing end of things.

 

CARLETON PLACE 5 CORNWALL 3

Emile Beliveau-Hameury, Bill Gourgon, Ryan Bonfield, Devon Thibodeau, and Evan Jamieson all found the back of the net, while Joe Chambers made 30-saves as the Canadians improved their season record to 7-7-0-1. Cornwall, who fell to 3-9-3-2, had goals from Emerick Nadeau, Dylan Dekoe, and Jake Coleman, while Alex Houston made 29-saves in the loss.

 

RENFREW 7 NEPEAN 6

Mason Goldie and Trent Scullion scored two goals each, Charlie Johnson, Elvis Slack, and Preston Brighton added singles, while Sebastian Resar made 17-saves as Renfrew improved to 9-4-0-0 on the year. Nepean saw their record drop to 4-10-1-0, and had goals from Jeff Taylor (2), Coleman Bennett, Harris Hilfiker, and Owen Hollingsworth, while Connor Shibley finished with 42-saves in the losing effort.
