The Ottawa Jr. Senators defeated the Hawkesbury Hawks 4–3 on Saturday night at the Jim Durrell Sports Complex. After a scoreless first period, Agnese and Lalonde scored for Hawkesbury, while Ottawa replied with goals from Gauthier on the powerplay, along with Tellier, and Williamson in the second frame. Genest tied it early in the third before Rice netted the eventual game winner. Ottawa outshot Hawkesbury 27–16. Morvan made 13 saves on 16 shots for Ottawa, while Michelow stopped 23 of 27 for Hawkesbury.
