Ottawa, ON – Monday was a busy day with the Annual CCHL Bantam Protect Draft but there was also a makeup game being played as the Kemptville 73’s topped the Kanata Lasers.

Madoka Suzuki, Jared Patterson, and Ryan Pawlikowski scored in regulation, Pawlikowski also netted the shootout winning goal, while William Anderson made 35-saves as Kemptville improved to 25-30-4-0 on the season. Kanata, who fell to 24-27-2-6, had goals from Dante Hoffman, Trevor Poeze, and Luca Nocita, while Jean-Philippe Tourigny made 28-saves in the losing effort.
