Kemptville 6, Smiths Falls 5
The Kemptville 73’s earned a 6–5 overtime victory over Smiths Falls at the Smiths Falls Memorial Centre, with Beaulieu securing the game-winner at 1:44 of OT. Kemptville held an early advantage through goals by St. James and Mullins, but Smiths Falls responded with second-period tallies from Parker, Blais, and Ott. Special teams played a key role as Sweetapple scored shorthanded and Hennessy added a power-play marker. In the third, Smiths Falls briefly pulled ahead with goals from Beauchesne and Heins, before Nichols equalized. Donovan made 26 saves for Kemptville, while Tremblay stopped 21 for Smiths Falls.
Hawkesbury 6, Carleton Place 2
The Hawkesbury Hawks defeated the Carleton Place Canadians 6–2 at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex on Friday night. Minchello and Lacoste propelled Hawkesbury to a 2–1 first-period lead before Witmer briefly pulled Carleton Place even in the second. Lalonde restored the Hawks’ advantage with a shorthanded marker late in the frame. Hawkesbury took control in the third with goals from Lauzon, Dinis into an empty net, and Sarrazin. Michelow made 29 saves in the win, while Ross stopped 26 shots for Carleton Place. The Hawks outshot the Canadians 32–31 in the victory.
Rockland 4, Brockville 3
The Rockland Nationals beat the Brockville Braves 4–3 in overtime at the Brockville Memorial Centre, capped by Kelloway’s winner at 1:38 of OT. Brockville opened the scoring through Sled, who added a second goal in the middle frame, but Rockland responded with a three-goal surge from Landry, Lehouillier, and Penney. Lumsden pulled Brockville even with a third-period power-play marker, forcing extra time. In overtime, Kelloway finished a setup from Turnbull and Allie to secure the victory. Newton stopped 25 shots in his first win for Rockland, while Galbraith made 41 saves in a strong effort for Brockville.
