The Pembroke Lumber Kings earned a 5–3 road victory over the Nepean Raiders on Wednesday night at the Nepean Sportsplex. Pembroke built a 4–1 lead through two periods, highlighted by a power-play marker from Kobylecki and another by Mongeau just seconds later. Despite a late push by Nepean, including goals from Tellier and Benoit in the third period, an empty-net tally by Carvalho sealed the win. Goaltender Heideman was outstanding for Pembroke, stopping 64 of 67 shots, while Brant made 28 saves for Nepean.
