Morning Playoff Recap | Lasers, Canadians, Braves winners Wednesday

 

Ottawa, ON – Three games of Bogart Cup playoff action on Wednesday evening saw victories from the Kanata Lasers, Carleton Place Canadians, and Brockville Braves.

 

F | KANATA 4 OTTAWA 1

Connor Sleeth scored twice, including the game-winner, Liam Markhauser and Connor Lockhart also found the back of the net, while Gabriel Carriere was sensational, making 42-saves as Kanata tied their best of seven series with Ottawa 1-1.

Kyle Jackson had the lone goal for the Jr Sens, while Francis Boisvert made 23-saves.

Game 3 goes tonight in Kanata at 7:30PM.

 

F | CARLETON PLACE 4 NAVAN 1

Ryland Mosley, David Poirier, Jackson Sterrett, and Alex Bourhas had goals, while Connor Murphy made 24-saves as Carleton Place took a commanding 3-0 lead on Navan in their best of seven series.

Scoring for the Grads was Jesse Lycan, while Alex Wisco made 41-saves in the losing effort.

Game 4 goes Friday night in Navan at 7:30PM.

 

F | BROCKVILLE 5 SMITHS FALLS 2

Eric Faith scored twice, Evan Kula, Emerick Nadeau, and Simon Kerr also scored goals, while Antoine Bourdeau made 31-saves as Brockville took a 2-0 series lead on Smiths Falls.

Tate Leeson and Fletcher Anderson replied for the Bears, while Jake Smith made 24-saves in the loss.

Game 3 goes Friday night in Brockville at 7:30PM.
