Morning Playoff Recap | Jr Senators increase lead, Bears stay alive

 

Ottawa, ON – In the two games Sunday, the Ottawa Jr Senators won a triple overtime classic to increase their series lead on Kanata, while the Smiths Falls Bears kept their season alive, defeating Brockville.

Kyle Jackson and Conor Smart tallied in regulation, Geoff Dempster was the triple overtime hero, while Francis Boisvert made 39-saves as Ottawa increased their series lead to 3-1 on Kanata.

Connor Lockhart and Derek St. Jean scored for the Lasers, while Gabriel Carriere finished with a whopping 80-saves in the losing effort.

Game 5 goes Monday night in Ottawa at 7:30PM.

Scott Gervais, Joey Warywoda, Alex Way, Jacob Shankar, and Jacob Cuffley found the net, while Jake Smith made 22-saves as Smiths Falls kept their season alive, now trailing Brockville in their series 3-1.

Simon Kerr and Christophe Cote scored for the Braves, while Antoine Bourdeau made 21-saves in the loss.

Game 5 goes Tuesday night in Brockville at 7:30PM.
