A very strong showing this past long weekend at the Sensplex in Kanata. The CCHL and HEO AAA combined to hold the Labour Day Showcase Classic over a four-day stretch, providing a strong showing on the ice, making way for scouts and coaches from more than 170 organizations. All 30 organizations at the NHL level had representation, as did all 20 OHL clubs and over half of the QMJHL had scouts on hand. There was especially a heavy presence of NCAA Division 1 & Division III in attendance, and even coaches from NCAA schools in the Western U.S made their way through the doors to view CCHL & HEO AAA talent.
