Kanata 3, Brockville 2

After Kanata tied the game 2-2 in the second period, Mike McAthur would grab the game winning goal just a minute into the third period to extend Brockville’s winning streak to three games.

McArthur had two goals on the night for his third two goal game of the season. He now has 10 goals and 20 points in 20 games. Evenson made 35 saves in the Braves win.

Jack Quinn scored his 21st goal of the year. He has now recorded a point in three straight games. The Lasers are now 3-2-3 since the start of January.

Ottawa 6, Hawkesbury 3

The Jr. Senators were trailing 2-1 after one but scored four unanswered goals in the second period to beat the Hawks.

Blacksmith had three points (1G/2A) for the games first star while Lalonde, Guy, Walsh and McGregor all scored.

With the loss Hawkesbury is now 1-3 since the start of 2018.

Kemptville 5, Cornwall 4

The Cornwall Colts had a 4-2 lead midway through the third but Kemptville climbed back to score three unanswered goals in the final frame.

Fry and Paterson both had 1G/1A in the win. The go ahead goal was scored by Fry, he has now scored in back to back games.

Konnor MacCormick had 1G/2A in the Cornwall loss. He has now recorded a multi-point effort in back to back games. He last three point contest also came against Kemptville on December 7th.

The 73’s are now 3-2 since the start of 2018. The Colts are 3-4 since the start of 2018.

Pembroke 4, Navan 1 

Pembroke scored three straight goals in the first period and came on top in the end.

Falivena, Barnaby, Cross and Browne all scored. Barnaby netted his 26th goal of the season in the win. Felivena has now scored five goals in his last four games.

In the Grads loss, Alex Way scored his 9th goal of the year. Navan has not won a game since November 26th. They are 0-12 during that time.

Rockland 5, Nepean 4

Nepean tied the game 4-4 to force overtime but Rockland’s Raphael Gosselin found the back of the net for the overtime winner.

With the win, Rockland has now won four straight and are 5-1 since the start of January. Two of those five wins have come in overtime. Connor Matton had three assists while Leblanc scored his 13th of the season and Brennan added two points (1G/1A).

Nepean’s Kyle Alaverdy made 35 saves in the loss. Antoine Belisle scored two goals in the third to force overtime.

Carleton Place 3, Smiths Falls 1

The Bears were leading 1-0 after two periods and the Canadians scored three unanswered goals in the final frame to take the game.

Theochardidis, Broughman and Reynolds all scored. Broughman got his 22nd goal of the season and Reynolds netted his 18th and most and his third in his last two games.

Carleton Place has now won two straight games. They are 3-1-1 since the start of 2018. The Bears have lost two straight games and are 1-4 since the start of 2018.
