Trenton, ON – The Eastern Canada Cup got underway in Quinte West, ON on Monday afternoon which saw both he CCHL Robinson Division and Yzerman Division Select teams in action.

It was a tough first game for CCHL Robinson as they fell to Quebec by a 4-1 score. Ryan Richardson had the lone goal for the CCHL, while Connor Murphy finished with 25-saves in the losing effort.
CCHL Robinson plays two games Tuesday, facing MHL Eastlink at 10:40AM and OJHL Hawerchuk at 8:40PM.

The Yzerman Division squad got off to a great start, playing a high-tempo game to pick up a day 1 victory. Elie Boulerice (2G, 1A), Darcy Walsh (1G, 1A), Jeremie Lavallee (1G), and Mitchell Larabie (1G) all found the net, while Francis Boisvert made 23-saves.
CCHL Yzerman is next in action Tuesday when they face NOJHL East at 2:00PM. They finish their Round-Robin schedule on Wednesday morning when they take on QJHL St. Louis at 10:40AM.
