The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is pleased to announce the Corporate Hype/CCM Player of the Week is Kevin Gollmer of the Cumberland Grads. The Grads goalie had the challenge of facing the #1 ranked Carleton Place Canadians in a home and home series. Gollmer was outstanding in a 4-2 loss and 2-1 OT loss stopping 75/80 shots while earning two 2nd game stars for his efforts. The Flourtown, PA native posted a 2.5 Goals Against and a stellar .938 Save Percentage keeping the Grads in both games.
The Canadian Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL) released its weekly National Top 20 rankings. TheCarleton Place Canadians are now the 2nd ranked Jr. A hockey team in Canada while the Ottawa Jr. Senatorsrose one spot to 17th in the country.
