The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) is pleased to announce the Corporate Hype/CCM Player of the Week is Felix Chamberland of the Pembroke Lumber Kings. The Lumber King forward played a significant role in the their two wins against the and an exciting 4-3 shoot-out victory over the Cumberland Grads and Ottawa Jr. Senators in overtime. Chamberland had 6 (2G, 4A) points, and earned a first game star. The Levis, QC native is second in team scoring with 40 (13G, 27A) points in 31 games and helping keep Pembroke in 2ndplace in the Yzerman Division.
The Canadian Central Junior Hockey League (CJHL) released its weekly National Top 20 rankings. TheCarleton Place Canadians are the third ranked Jr. A hockey team in Canada while the Ottawa Jr. Senatorsremain 15th in the country.
