Commitment Alert | Wolves Paul Larabie commits to Carleton University

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Renfrew Wolves are pleased to announce that forward Paul Larabie has committed to U Sports Carleton University for 2021-22.

In 122 career regular season and playoff games, the 2000 born Nepean, ON native totaled 83 points (33G, 50A) with both the Kanata Lasers and Nepean Raiders. Prior to the provincial shutdown, Larabie was named the first captain in Renfrew Wolves history. Last season he also participated in both the CCHL All Star Game and was selected to represent the CCHL in their exhibition game Vs UMass Lowell in Massachusetts.

“I was happy to commit to such a good program, with an amazing staff that care about the development of their players” Larabie said when speaking of his decision to play at Carleton. A native of Nepean, Larabie is also thrilled about the prospect of going to school so close to home, saying “Being close to home is very exciting for me. Having the support of my family and friends is something that makes this opportunity even better.”

An energetic and physical winger who showed strong leadership ability over the past season also spent time in the Ontario Hockey League prior to his CCHL return in 2019-20. In 88 games with the Kingston Frontenacs, Larabie totaled 12 points (2G, 10A).

Larabie becomes the first member of the Renfrew Wolves to make a college commitment.
