Commitment Alert | Rockland Nationals Felix Tourigny commits to USPORTS McGill University

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockand Nationals are pleased to announce that forward Felix Tourigny has committed to USPORTS McGill University Redbirds for the 2021-22 season.

The 2000 born Trois-Rivieres, QC native recently completed his junior eligibility as a member of the Rockland Nationals after coming over in an offseason trade from the former Kanata Lasers franchise prior to their move and rebrand as the Renfrew Wolves.

Over the course of 61 games with the Lasers, Tourigny totaled 43 points (21G, 22A). He also suited up in 70 games of action at the Major Junior level with the Ottawa 67’s and Rouyn Noranda Huskies between 2017 and 2020. 

Prior to his time in the CCHL, Tourigny helped lead the Kanata Lasers U18 program to a HEO U18 AAA league championship in 2015-16. Over two seasons playing HEO U18 AAA, Tourigny totaled 49 points (20G, 29A).
