Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Nepean Raiders are pleased to announce that defenseman Brett Tierney has committed to NCAA Trine University for the 2019-20 season.
The 1999 born West Chicago, IL native recently completed his first and only season in the CCHL where he split time between the Nepean Raiders and Hawkesbury Hawks. In 48 games of action, he totaled 6 assists.
“Playing in the CCHL this past year has prepared me to be able to take the next step in my career,” said Tierney. “I am very excited to start my future as a student athlete and be part of the tradition at Trine University.”
Prior to his time in the CCHL, Tierney spent time in both the Chicago Mission and Chicago Young Americans U18 programs.
