Commitment Alert | Nationals JP Tourigny commits to USPORTS University of Ottawa

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Rockand Nationals are pleased to announce that goaltender JP Tourigny has committed to USPORTS University of Ottawa Gee-Gees for the 2021-22 season.

The 2000 born Trois-Rivieres, QC native recently completed his final season of junior hockey as a member of the Rockland Nationals after coming over in an offseason trade from the former Kanata Lasers franchise prior to their move and rebrand as the Renfrew Wolves.

During his tenure in the CCHL, Tourigny posted a 27-24-1 record with a 3.37 GAA, .904 SV%, and 4 shutouts over the course of 63 games with the Nationals and Lasers.

Prior to his time in the CCHL, he suited up for the Kanata Lasers U18 program for two seasons, helping his club capture the HEO U18 AAA League Championship in 2015-16.
