Brockville, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Brockville Braves are pleased to announce that forward Justin McRae has committed to U Sports University of Ottawa for the 2020-21 season.
The 1999 born Peterborough, ON native is currently 6th overall in CCHL scoring with 39 points (19G, 20A) in 34 games of action. In 265 career regular season and playoff games between the Brockville Braves and Cornwall Colts, the hard-working two-way forward has totaled 145 points (67G, 78A). He has also represented the CCHL at numerous events such as the 2018 Sirius World Cup of Hockey in Sochi, Russia and the 2018 Eastern Canada Cup.
He will join fellow Braves teammate Konnor MacCormick, as well as Kanata Lasers captain Liam Markhauser who also made commitments to the University of Ottawa for next season.
