Commitment Alert | Junior Senators Simon Isabelle commits to RIT

 

The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Junior Senators are pleased to announce that forward Simon Isabelle has committed to NCAA Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for the 2022-23 season.

The 2001 born Whitehorse, YT native is in his first season as a member of the Junior Senators after being recruited out of the Quebec Collegiate Hockey League where he spent the past two seasons as a member of the Saint-Hyacinthe Laureats. During his tenure with the Laureats, he totaled 63 points (21G, 42A) in 66 games.

With the Junior Senators and prior to the provincial shutdown, Isabelle notched 4 assists in 5 games of development season action. 

He becomes the fourth member of the 2020-21 Junior Senators to be committed to a college hockey program, joining Tyler Orban (Robert Morris University), Isaac Lambert (University of Maine), and Ethan Mulhearn (Hobart College).
