OTTAWA, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Junior Senators are pleased to announce that forward Ian Tookenay has committed to NCAA Norwich University for the fall of 2021.
The 2000 born Fort Frances, ON native recently completed his final season of junior hockey as a member of the Junior Senators, after spending the past three seasons between the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and Superior International Junior Hockey League.
In 185 career regular season and playoff games within the CJHL, Tookenay totaled 111 points (41G, 70A).
He is the third member of the 2020-21 Junior Senators to commit to a collegiate program, joining Ethan Mulhearn (Hobart College ‘21) and Simon Isabelle (RIT ‘22).
