Commitment Alert | Jr Senators Taylor Egan commits to Lakehead University for 2019-20

 

Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Jr Senators are pleased to announce that defenseman Taylor Egan has committed to U Sports Lakehead University for the 2019-20 season.

The 1998 born Carp, ON native recently completed his final season of junior hockey where he helped the Ottawa Jr Senators to a Bogart Cup, Fred Page Cup, and National Junior A Championship appearance.

In 61 games played between the Ottawa Jr Senators and Pembroke Lumber Kings, Egan totaled 25 points (3G, 22A). In his CCHL career, the steady two-way defenseman totaled 56 points (9G, 47A) in 169 combined regular season and postseason games. 

Egan, who will be joined by teammate Geoff Dempster who also committed to Lakehead, will be joining fellow CCHL alumni already suiting up for the Thunderwolves in Jordan Larson, Sam Schutt, and Jonathan Masters.
