Ottawa, ON – The Central Canada Hockey League and Ottawa Jr Senators are pleased to announce that defenseman Bailey Brant has committed to NCAA Division 3 Lake Forest College for the 2020-21 season.
The 1999 born Greely, ON native recently completed his fifth and final season of junior hockey with the Jr Senators, where he totaled 9 points (1G, 8A) in 60 games of action. In 320 career combined regular season and playoff games between the Jr Senators and Nepean Raiders, Brant collected 66 points (10G, 56A).
He becomes the sixth member of the 2019-20 Jr Senators to commit to university hockey, joining Owen Cole (UMass Lowell), Conor Smart (Oswego State), Faisal Alsaif (Williams College), and Christophe Cote (Brock University) who have also committed for the 2020-21 season, and Tucker McIntosh (St. Lawrence), who is committed for 2021-22.
